I think Substack is turning out to be a lot of people's 'Jerry Maguire.' Quite inspiring for those of us who are building a following from nada.

Really liked this article. I always loved how certain movies make you feel happy, hopeful, and just inspire all the way around. For example, I only watched "An Affair To Remember" because they talked about the movie in "Sleepless in Seattle." "No way that movie can make you cry and feel that deeply about it.", I thought smugly. I. WAS. SO. WRONG. Not only did I love the movie, I cried like a blubbering idiot at the end, and still to this day will quote Deborah Carr from a famous scene from that same movie. Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to say is I really loved how you felt after watching Jerry Maguire. It's always nice to see another person still root for honesty, true authenticity, and for all of us humans to keep being our , weird, cool, badass selves. No matter the consequences. Well done, my friend. :)

Thank you so much, D.K. It's really the best when a work of art HITS like that, isn't it?
