"dancey beats...bare naked thumps... ephemeral feelings" are all of my jams. Thank you for sharing your newest musical indulgence with us, Matt. I will be diving into Fred again.. with your blessing. ❤️

I highly recommend taking the days off. I didn’t do it over Christmas and kind of regret it :/ enjoy that cali sun! I’ll check out the links when I’m not next to an unsuspecting snoozing partner...

I love dance music, especially Happy House and Trance. Recently discovered Fred again. May I recommend Pete Tong (especially his ventures with Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra) and Paul van Dyck...

While it's not my 'cup of tea' it certainly has the right energy/beat to get me moving! Enjoy your time with family guilt-free. Life is short and we all need a break from time to time!

Yes! This made me happy. I first discovered him through his song "Kyle (i found you)."

Your two bits: "His music doesn’t make you want to dance so much as pour your entire heart out, and if that happens to occur on a dance floor? So be it."... and... the quote about his approach being "an attempt to lengthen ephemeral feelings like sudden joy, the flutter of new love, fleeting happiness."

My first listen was toward the end of the summer last year, and I was feeling all of it haha- I could not help but dance around my living room. You've got good, solid sensors for the gold out there, and an even better tendency to share it with us and spread the love. Glad you're also enjoying the time w/ friends and fam <3

I try to find some gold every now and then, Jeannie, and it's a great feeling when I do. The only thing to do, then, is pass it on. It's a lot like when I eat something really good. If it's sort of good? I piggishly eat it all to myself. But if it's mindblowingly good? I MUST SHARE IT, and I bug everyone around me, "Try this. No, seriously. Try this. Try this. Try this." Thanks for the kind words :)

I’ve done Amtrak from SanFran to NY (via Chicago) four times. Must write up my notes from the last trip. So many interesting characters.

I followed the links, now I'm a fan, I'm 63 years old, but I thought the music was cool. Thank you for hooking me up.

thanks for sharing Matt. Although there might be moments or sections of his music that I appreciate, and like you I don't think I have a favorite genre I won't go out of my way to explore this sound domain. Glad to hear you're filling your time with family, a mere hand full of miles away. Christopher took advantage of the rain free day and rode to Dublin. Green Gator land !! happy new Year! And, I just read the Kurt Vonnegut bit, I am am absolutely, totally, unequivocally on board with that sentiment. Completely!

Nice! Daft Punk is awesome but it was Benny Benassi I really loved like Satisfaction 2003 makes you really “feel” the music physically.
